About The Summer House
The Summer House is a two bedroom self contained cottage in the grounds of the owners' home - Garway House - with shared use of the heated outdoor pool during the summer months.
Set on the side of Garway Hill The Summer House has recently been entirely renovated to a high standard making it a delightful rural retreat.
Throughout the renovation we have used locally sourced materials where possible and have installed new energy efficient appliances. The house is painted with solvent free organic paint and even our Axminster carpet is made from recycled wool!
We have not forgotten that this will be your holiday though and you will find comfy beds, quality bed linen, Laura Ashley and Cath Kidston fabrics, vintage Welsh wool blankets and natural toiletries for your use during your stay.
As parents ourselves we also know the things that make life easier with children on holiday. So we have stair gates, window locks, travel cots and a high chair. Any thing else you need - just ask!
We also provide a welcome pack with lots of local goodies - such as preserves, wine and freshly made bread.
To make your break as enjoyable as possible we can arrange a massage, frozen home cooked meals and even a box of local organic vegetables.
