The Area

The Summer House is set in three beautiful acres belonging to Garway House and has its own private garden area.

The grounds contain a natural wildlife pond, stream, heated outdoor pool and plenty of space to roam and look for eggs left by our free ranging hens!

Garway Hill is a prominent local landmark rising to over 1200 feet. From the top of the Hill there is a 360 degree view of seven counties. White mountain horses graze there most of the year and sheep roam freely on the common.

We are within 20 minutes drive of Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and the M50 motorway and within easy reach of Hay-on-Wye, Monmouth, Symonds Yat, Abergavenny and Malvern.

There are numerous places to visit including Offa's Dyke path, The Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean if walking is your thing. If not there are great little towns to explore and we have several fantastic restaurants just a short drive away.
